Demo Evaluation Terms

These draft terms apply only to BotlerDesk’s no-cost, pre-release browser demonstration. They are prepared for subsequent owner and attorney review, not represented as legally approved or as an agreement for an operational service.

1. Evaluation-only use

Subject to these terms, you may access and use the demonstration under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license solely to evaluate planned features. The demo is not licensed for production use, delivery of services to residents or handling real property-management work.

2. Fictional information only

Do not enter actual resident, tenant or applicant data, personal identifiers, confidential business information or other sensitive information. Use fictional company names and scenarios. Do not upload or share information you lack permission to use.

3. No real requests or emergency response

The demo uses scripted scenarios, not live AI or messaging. On-screen conversations, tickets, claims and status updates do not send real requests, contact staff, book appointments or confirm completed work. The SMS preview sends and receives no texts and has no active consent, STOP or HELP processing. For immediate danger, call 911 and follow your property’s emergency instructions; do not use this demo to seek emergency assistance.

4. No operational or legal reliance

Do not rely on the demo for housing eligibility, fair housing compliance, accommodation, screening, maintenance or safety decisions. It is not legal advice, a compliance determination or a licensed brokerage service. Planned features and scripted answers do not promise future availability, performance or legal compliance.

5. Intellectual property and feedback

BotlerDesk materials and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Evaluation access does not transfer ownership. You may voluntarily provide feedback you have the right to share; it may be used to improve the product, subject to applicable law. Do not include confidential information or personal resident data in feedback.

6. Availability and no purchase obligation

The demo may change, be interrupted or stop without a promise of continued access. It is offered at no cost and creates no obligation to buy, subscribe or use a future service. Any commercial offering requires separate terms.

7. No warranties

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the demo is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. No promise is made that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free. This provision does not exclude warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BotlerDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from evaluation use, including lost profits or business interruption. Any limitation applies only where lawful and reasonable in the circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. No fixed liability cap is asserted in this preliminary draft.

9. Privacy and acknowledgment

Review the preliminary Privacy Policy for current demo inputs, hosting and asset requests, and contact by email. The evaluation acknowledgment is held only in local component state; it is not a durable or server-verified consent record. Professional review is required before relying on these terms for a commercial launch.
